A Christian Science Reading Room is a place where lives can be changed. It offers a place to explore spiritual ideas, ask questions, read, pray, and get inspired. It’s a space where many have found resolution and healing by studying the lessons of the Bible and nurturing a connection with God. It’s for those who are curious about Christian Science and spiritual healing and want to learn more.
Answers to the challenges of life – health, relationships, employment, home, supply, solving problems of any kind – can be found through the study of the Bible and its companion book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy. These books are available to purchase, borrow or use at the Reading Room. Also for purchase or study are all of Eddy’s published writings, Bible study resources, biographies about Eddy, inspirational music, Bible stories for children and The Christian Science Monitor. In addition, you’ll find a complete library of publications from the Christian Science Publishing Society: publications which include more than 150 years of verified accounts of healing accomplished through prayer. These publications can also be researched online at no cost while in the Reading Room.
